'Irresponsible wives the cause of extramarital affairs'
The high occurrence of extramarital affairs is due to "wives who neglect their responsibilities" to their husbands, the MP for Pasir Mas (Ind) Ibrahim Ali claims.
Therefore, he asked in a supplementary question during Question Time in Parliament, what was the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) doing about educating wives on their responsibilities?
"There are times when husbands have urges (ada keinginan)... but when they come home to their wives, they will say, 'wait, I'm cooking', or 'wait, I'm getting ready to visit relatives'.
"In Islam, wives are supposed to stop everything to fulfil their husbands' demands," Ibrahim (right) said.
"Husbands driving home after work see things that are sexually arousing (menaikan semangat) and go to their wives to ease their urges (semangat).
"So much so there are husbands who go to private places (tempat-tempat yang sulit) to satisfy their urges and then (unsavoury) videos are exposed... this is why I want a proper explanation as to whether wives understand their roles," he added.
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mashitah Ibrahim shot down the question, saying intimacy between married couples was based on the level of understanding between the couples.
"I can't completely agree with you... men must understand this too - (just because) you come home after work and you are aroused (naik semangat), your wife must stop all her work and please you," she said.
Ibrahim had also raised the issue of polygamy and urged Muslim men to marry widows or divorcees as their second wives.
Mashitah responded that more exposure was needed on the issue of polygamy for Muslim couples.

seals: What a Joke....man will have all the 1001 excuses when they need to get another woman to have sex with .... when you want to do it...yes of course you can find 1001 reasons...and even if the 1001 excuses are fulfilled then they will have the 1002th excuse to have another woman....
1. Last time they blame the woman for arousing man and be the reason for rapes (they said man not to be blamed). The woman that was raped in the bus was wearing "tudung" and still she was raped. Is tudung sexy too for this man? .... if a man cannot manage his need, why blame the woman ....
2. "There are times when husbands have urges (ada keinginan)... but when they come home to their wives, they will say, 'wait, I'm cooking'..." After done and the man is tired .... he needs food and the wife says...wait I am cooking....then the same man will have a reason for him to get another woman as he will say the wife is not doing her job to feed him...
3. "Husbands driving home after work see things that are sexually arousing (menaikan semangat) and go to their wives to ease their urges (semangat)." Is it ok for the man to (in this case muslim man) to get him self aroused and letting the mind wander sexually by looking at another man's wife or daughters details of the body and so on till the point he get aroused?
4. "So much so there are husbands who go to private places (tempat-tempat yang sulit) to satisfy their urges and then (unsavoury) videos are exposed... this is why I want a proper explanation as to whether wives understand their roles," he added." If the wife is sexually all excited with his performance ..she will be on the husband's lap the moment she sees him...with the heart beating fast and eyes full of love...Are you describing the man's performance problem and justifying the reason to get paid services ?
5. "Ibrahim had also raised the issue of polygamy and urged Muslim men to marry widows or divorcees as their second wives." Can we see this in syariah law? But in actual...they look for fresh and intact 2nd wife.....
Soon these people will say, I came back my wife had period ...and I had to get another woman to satisfy my need...lol!!!
note: my comments here on "husbands / wife / he / she" is not referring to any specific person, just the way I address man and woman.
