Neelkanth (neelakandan) Peak from Badrinath

I missed this view last year, not to miss it again I wake up at 6am in a very cold day and waited for the moments.....

This is the moment....the first light on the peak that the locals call Neelkanth peak. About 23,000 feet high.

The mountain is now glowing with the rays of the sun....it is a place to see !

Looking at Google Earth you can somehow know the locations of Badrinath and this peak is somewhere around Trisul.

As i mentioned on the very first day i came across this shot...its simply awesome! Sure to have it as my desktop b'ground esp the first light shot.It reminds me of a saying "lots of forgoes makes a remarkable come back"...sharan
