Ponggal

Ponggal is a Harvest Celebrated by southern Indians as a offerings of rice and prayers of thanksgiving to the elements and GOD. This is also done for a better harvest the next year.


In India the ponggal is done at the main
entrance of the house and done at sunrise or sunset time
