SHAH ALAM: Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim has a monthly income of RM47,222 including fixed allowances, the state government website revealed Saturday.

According to Abdul Khalid's income and asset declaration form posted on the website, his monthly income comprises a salary of RM11,715 and allowances of RM35,507.

However, the space for information on his housing and vehicle loans is written with the word "NONE".

His declaration form also lists a private-owned company in the name of Sekun Asset Management Group (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd at Level 18, The Gardens, North Tower, Mid Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra, Kuala Lumpur, involved in investment-related business.

The company's annual turnover, however, is written as "non-operational" and the financial source as "own".

The list of income of members of the Selangor State Executive Council, including their loans for asset purchases, can be accessed from the state government website at www.selangor.gov.my from Friday.

Teresa Kok is among those who receive the highest income with RM32,830.67 (including allowances) and two housing loans amounting to RM320,000.

The call for the Mentri Besar and state executive councillors to declare their income and assets was made by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, when opening the State Legislative Assembly sitting recently. - Bernama
