HINDRAF Made It

Hindraf made it to make the BN gov. realise that KL people needs to have Taipusam day to be declared as a holiday. A day that is also marked in the Malaysian Tourism calender. A holiday for Kuala Lumpur that MIC was promising for past 22 years.

During every Taipusam speech MIC will promise that it will request BN government to declare Kuala Lumpur to join Selangor, Johor, Negri Sembilan, Penang and Perak on a Public Holiday. It never happened. And HINDRAF did it in 2 months.

The change that HINDRAF brought to Malaysian Indians and it opened the eyes of the other fellow Malaysians, I believe has open the mind of the leaders to the need of the Indians. The best thing that HINDRAF made was UNITY.

So, does this mean we in KL will continue to have FT day on top of Thaipusam, or will FT Day soon come to its end of life soon?
