Highland Towers After 14 years

I was just passing by Highland Towers and saw some earth works from the MRR2 so I decided to make a turn in to road that we walked in and out some 14 years back, yes that memories.

To my suprise there were earth works going on at that place.

The Hiland Towers that was once occupied by people now occupied by tress and GOD know what else :)

You can notice what is left is the concrete structure only, what happened to the rest. What that a fair decision to move the people out and not being compensated (to what I know, please correct me if I am wrong).
