BN to accept court decision but will appeal

'This is like what was done in Perak. First, the courts will say this and then upon appeal, they will overrule the previous decision. Mark my words, the next decision will be for BN/Umno.' BN to accept court decision but will appeal Tan Teng Wah: BN simply has to accept the court's decision. Is there any need for the PM to state the obvious? To appeal is, of course, their right. But the worrying part is the extreme likelihood of the judicial process being wrecked/hijacked like what happened following BN's seizure of power in Perak. Keep your figures crossed. Selian: This is just play-acting, like what was done in Perak. First, the court will say this and then upon appeal, they will overrule the previous decision. Mark my words, the next decision will be for BN. Louis: He, the PM, knows he's a sure winner when the case goes to the higher courts. Looks like the lower court judges are more well-versed in the law. Just look at what happened to ousted Perak Menteri Besar...

'Retired politicians should zip up'

Meanwhile, Kuala Kubu Bharu state assemblyperson Wong Koon Mun said "retired politicians should make sure they keep their mouths shut". "Why would Muhammad comment? I do not know why these people still comment when they are no longer in positions of power. I think this is wrong. "This scenario is similar to what Tengku Razaleigh (Hamzah) has done. When he is in power, he never voiced his opinion," he said. Yesterday, Khalid also said Taib is willing to work with the Pakatan state government to uplift the living conditions of the people in rural areas. complete news at : http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/117560 seals : Does he mean Dr M too?

'BN to win elections? Go test it in Perak'

'Mr Popular and Dynamic Prime Minister, please dissolve the Perak state assembly and hold fresh elections. It will be a perfect chance to evaluate your so-called 'excellent, visionary leadership.' 'BN will win elections if held today' Ruben Antony Soosay: It is very easy to validate the Merdeka Centre survey. Mr Popular and Dynamic Prime Minister, please dissolve the Perak state assembly and hold fresh elections. It will be a perfect chance to evaluate your so-called 'excellent, visionary leadership'. Murali: After the non-stop shootings of the Indians, BN can dream on! I'm not going to vote for them. Amos: BN and Umno are chronic racists. Malaysia is the only country in the world that still practises apartheid. It is a very corrupted banana republic. This is after 50 years of racist Umno rule. Enough is enough. Md Imraz Muhammed Ikhbal: Underestimate not the assessment of the Merdeka Centre. I may be dead against Umno and BN but what they say is log...

DPM orders Siputeh rep to attend assembly sitting

Wira: Under what rule can a federal minister issue an order which is the prerogative of the state assembly? If the state assemblyperson wants to be reinstated against the ruling of the speaker of a state assembly acting under assembly rules, his proper remedy lies with the courts. Ganasan Kailasanathan: BN ministers should stop interfering in state assemblies. If the DPM orders the state assemblyperson not to respect the speaker, then can we also ask suspended Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo to barge into Parliament. Then we will raise the question, 'Under what power did the Parliament speaker suspend Gobind Singh Deo'? Chee Hoe Siew: Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, learn accountability. Seriously, your statement really brings your integrity to a new low. Not only that, the Election Commission's is now lower than ever on the matter of trustworthiness. Can we still say that the EC is impartial? More news at : http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/117330 seals: I like the p...
