The man on the right is our guide. This is the walk like to the source of Ganges, the place called Guamukh. It took 12 hours of tough 18Kms walk at a high altitude. Even my camera felt heavy. A view from the last "basecamp" to Guamukh where i fell sick due to dehydration. At the background there was actually a beautiful mountain that looked like Kailash People are resting at the last base camp. Resting as we were decending before corssing the cold river. A bath place that has no water, what do we call that? Wash place that has no water Urine area that has no water and even the flush system is broken. How will the kids do their business? Is this what we call dry tap?

I was driving along Federal Highway on the eve of deepavali, I saw thick smoke comming from the Kg Lindungan direction. When i reached the place it was on fire. Bomba arrived in time. We assisted the Bomba to remove the gas cylinders away. Seeing a life 415V cable on the road and near a pool of water, the Bomba did not allow us to get closer. We called TNB but no one answered. This picture was taken at the moment when the cable came contact with water and exploded. The part that could not be saved. Moral of the story: don't play-play with fire. Good Job Bomba!

Every evening before sun sets both the (WAGA Boader) boader patrol units of India and pakistan will have a parade before the gates are closed. Well synchronised and intresting to see. Night View of Islamabad town from Pir Sohawa (hill top) were we had BBQ chicken. Well I packed vegi food for me from town. I was freezing even with my jacket on. A view from Pir Sohawa as we were decending from the BBQ place, the Faisal Mosque. The biggest in Pakistan. I think it can take up to 5000 people. Pakistan is not as bad as it is portrayed in the media. The traffic condition and food is good. Nice and friendly people you will be surprised. My first visit last year changed my perception 180 deg.
