BREAKING NEWS: Petrol will be RM2.70 a litre at midnight tonight

The new price of petrol is RM2.70 per litre beginning midnight tonight, it was announced a moment ago by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad. Diesel will go up by RM1 per litre while the price for ULG 92 went up by 74 sen. The 78 sen hike or 40 per cent increase for the ULG 97 petrol is still below the antiticpated RM4 per litre price projected earlier and among the cheapest in Asia.

seals: with this increase, food price will go up, products will go more expensive, taxi operators will demand to increase fares, so will the bus operators. And others indirectly related to fuel price increase will follow... but the only thing that will not follow is the salary.

Where will the amount (1/3 of National Budget) that's is saved, will be channeled to?

The last increase promise, "we will improve the public transport" ..... where is it? We still have a "un educated public transport system".

The amount will be save for sending astronaut to outer space with batik, drinking roti canai with teh tarik, and then building artistic building that crack around, starting project that never end, signing money-wasting contract with some company, building bridge that repair cost higher than developing cost, as well as our parliament building, court centre, developing port that lose money, subsidies Malaysia Airline, Potong(Proton), bought bunch of ink for election use but never use it,and many more!!

Sorry that i really have no idea how these thing will help inprove our life style as mentioned by our government.
