Singing Bowl




I was looking for the singing bowl (http://selians.blogspot.com/2007/03/singging-bowl.html) and a good friend suggested the feng shui shop.

And I did but a small bowls where priced at RM380.00. The I decided to buy when I visit Tibet or Nepal. But when I was in Rishikesh on OCT 07, a friend told me that I can get Tibetian things at Laxman Juala. There I found few shops ... I bought the singing bowl for RM70.00 and the other for RM25.00. I know I could have reduced further, but I just wanted to support the Tibetians.

Both actually generate a sound vibration that sounds as "OM"! And it is beautiful sound and makes one feel relexed.

I saw this similar bowl too in Japan, but not sure where is it originated...

I do bought 2 singing during my visit to Nepal......

1 was handmade BIG singing bowl,
cost me USD 100. But, i can tell you.....it's worth. It's suitable to do healing.

Another one was cast type, smaller. Is abt USD 18. This was the one i used to play everyday....

Hope you found the bowl belong to YOU......
